Todd Serkland believes he was born with a pencil in his hand. He grew up following in his older brother's foot steps and pencil shavings.

Over the years, Todd has worked on children's show, The Adventures of Alex and his Creature Comforts Crew; which the pilot episode aired on the WB network. He not only starred as the main character, Alex, but also helped create the sets, props and models for this show.

He has worked on commercials for McDonalds, Red Wing Shoes and the Arizona Lottery.

Todd was a set dresser for the film 'Transamerica.' Recently Todd created pre-production designs and storyboards for several short films which includes creating conceptual designs for J.D. Shapiro, screen writer of 'Robin Hood: Men in Tights' and 'Battlefield Earth.'

Todd's first love has always been drawing. Throughout his career, Todd has improved his skills as an illustrator while creating countless Superheroes and Star Wars characters. Todd and Esta Rosevear have known each other for many years. He was the creator of Esta's theatre posters while he was in school. They have been friends ever since. In 2005 Todd was asked to join forces with Esta and together, they have brought her words and Rebecca's world to life.

Currently, Todd is working on Rebecca's fifth book of the series. He lives in Surprise, Arizona with his wife, Jeska and their three children. Edward (15) Jordan (7) Lauren (5) and their two dogs, Mowgli and Gracie. He secretly is proud of his huge Star Wars Collection and admits to being a geek.
